When applying to and accepting a place on with Derbyshire Dance Associates, students and their parents/guardians are agreeing to the following terms:

  • UNIFORM:
    • Students are required to wear DDA Brand uniform to each session.
      • Ballet: DDA Leotard, along with your own ballet tights and ballet shoes. Hair must be in a neat bun.
      • Jazz: DDA Vest Top or DDA Crop Top, and DDA Shorts or DDA Leggings, along with your own jazz shoes.
  • Ettequite:

    • Students are expected to arrive in a timely manner prepared for their session; tutors will make every effort to ensure late students are able to join in the session when it is safe to do so after warming up.
    • Students are expected to treat each other, tutors, and staff with the utmost respect and kindness at all times. Any serious or repeated poor behavior may result in a student being removed from the program without a refund.
  •  ATTENDANCE:
    • Program dates have been provided for the entire program. Is it the applicant’s responsibility to ensure they are available for these dates. DDA expects associate members to honor commitments to their dance school of origin over those of this program.
    • Parents/guardians understand that they are enrolling in a 10-month program. Once the program has begun there will be no new applicants joining the program, therefore non-attendance for any reason or failure to complete the entire program will not entitle any student to a refund. Exceptional circumstances may be considered on a compassionate case-by-case basis.
  • PAYMENTS:
    • Parents/guardians agree to the following payment schedule: Non-refundable deposit £50 to be paid upon accepting a place on the program, followed by four £50.00 installments to be paid on/before 1st September, 1st October, 1st November, 1st December 2021.
    • Parents/guardians understand that all fees paid are non-refundable, this includes the audition fee and all program fees.
    • Uniform is made-to-order internationally and cannot be refunded.
  • AGREEMENT:
    • Before completing an online application form you were asked to read and agree to these terms.
    • When completing an online application form you were asked to tick a consent box agreeing to ‘our terms’, the points outlined on this page are those terms.
